New Braunfels bans open containers from parks on rivers |

NEW BRAUNFELS –
The city council passed new rules Monday night, restricting the size of
coolers allowed on the Comal and Guadalupe rivers, limiting tubers to a
single tube, banning open alcohol containers in riverfront parks and
requiring life jackets for children younger than eight. Link

The organizers of South by Southwest (SxSW) Music Festival are holding
back the official list of bands this year, fearing that others will
"poach" them for day parties and afterparties. Austinist.com has dug
