misterhouse in opera on nintendo ds lite |

|
here
are some shots of misterhouse running in the new opera browser on the
nintendo ds lite. the quality of the pics is not great, but you should
be able to get the idea. this is the european release, as it is not out in the states as of yet. I ordered it here.
my opera browser came in the mail today, and I must say that it is very
nice. my misterhouse looks good on it, and there are several features
making for a very smooth interface. it has both an on-screen keyboard
and supports handwriting recognition. there is a simple icon-based menu
strip at the bottom of the touchscreen allowing one-click access to
common actions such as viewing mode toggle [either both screens act as
one, or the bottom is an overview with a 'scope' allowing you to see a
close-up in the top screen], search [local or web], bookmarks, history
[nice], refresh, back/forward, show images toggle, etc.
button layout is well designed and the overall operating speed is very usable.
above is the browser in 'overview mode'
in this mode, a page displayed at reduced size [the 'Shrink' page] and a page displayed at normal size [the 'Magnify' page] are shown seperately on the lower and upper screens.
above is the browser in 'SSR mode'
in this mode, the upper and lower screens are combined to make a single screen in which the page is displayed.
